University of Birmingham accommodation

There are two options on the University of Birmingham’s campus which are between a 10 – 20 minute walk from the main conference rooms, and which can be booked as part of your registration booking, or if you need to add these on at a later stage please email academic.conferences@contacts.bham.ac.uk

Vale village: £45.60 per night including a full English breakfast inc VAT

Our student accommodation is made up of different buildings known as the Vale Village, located 2 miles south of the city centre and a 20-minute walk from our Edgbaston campus;

  • En-suite bedrooms in a cluster of either four or six rooms, with shared kitchen/lounge facilities
  • Courtesy beverages in the kitchen area
  • Bedding and towels
  • Irons and bedside lamps are available from reception
  • Free Wi-Fi

Edgbaston Park Hotel: £130 per night including breakfast inc VAT

The new University Hotel offers modern, contemporary en-suite bedrooms with free Wi-Fi, just a 10 minute walk away from the centre of the campus. Birmingham City Centre accommodation

Attendees who stay in the city can access the University via a short taxi journey, an 8 minute train journey from Birmingham New Street Station to the University Station, or a 40 minute walk.
